"House of Wind and Water" is just outside of central Puerto Vallarta along the magical River Cuale at the base of the Sierra Madres. Artist/owner Kathleen Carrillo is the artist in residence. With husband Andy Marcus they have created a uniquely magical environment for your experience The retreat is located in a charming authentic mexican colonia. It is a ten to fifteen minute bus ride to the famous Olas Altas neighborhood, with it's restaurants, boutiques, clubs, and beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta .

Each retreat offers charming accommodations, wonderful meals, art experiences, body stretching, nature experiences, shopping excursions, sunsets at the beach, You will receive expert art instruction and pampering with a full itinerary.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR

ART-NATURE RETREAT

At the House of Wind and Water you will be surrounded by nature, hear the birds, the river and the sounds of rural Mexico. You will settle into your suite and then join us on the patio for a meet and greet and a lovely dinner. Kathleen will talk to you about what to expect in your classes give you a small tour of the retreat center and then send you off to your rooms to enjoy the evening relaxing.

Mornings at the retreat consist of a full breakfast, optional nature experience, then our art experience begins. Depending on your class, we will spend up to four hours in the studio and then have a wonderful main meal at around 2:00. After lunch you will have time to rest and refresh before we return to the studio or take an outside excursion.

Excursions include: a beach experience, a shopping experience, a gallery walk, a nature experience in the jungle of your choice.

We will share stories, secrets, critiques, laugh and cry and explore and expand through the creative process. After a week at the House of Wind and Water, you will have given yourself a gift to remember for a lifetime.
